Nebraska St. Sewer Rehabilitation

This project was completed in January 2011 and used a “no dig” method to install a cured-in-place liner in an existing 24” sewer that is approximately 100 years old. This project was originally scheduled for 2009 but upon investigation it was discovered that it was necessary to replace all of the manholes before the liner could be installed.

Construction started in December 2010 and was completed in a 2 week period at a cost of approximately $250,000. Conventional methods of open excavation to replace the 24” sewer would have cost over $500,000 and would have had parts of Nebraska St. closed for 6 months during construction.
