Long Term Control Plan - Approved

Marion’s Long Term Control Plan revision was approved by IDEM in a letter dated October 1, 2010. This plan will reduce the total number of combined sewer overflows from 60 to 8 annually. The improvements to the sewer system and treatment plant are estimated to cost approximately $32 million over the next 15 years.
